Controlled Capture Systems offers imaging solutions for all aspects of video imaging. Our time-lapse line of software allows unparalleled control over time as to obtain imagery autonomously using desktop computers. Our newest line, The Guardian© allows home, commercial, and industrial clients to monitor their property without the need to review long taped sections, as the computer alerts you to problems, without filling up your disk drive with false triggers or business as usual cases. No more having to review hours of tape to see what is going on in your secured area.

Controlled Capture Systems offers complete turnkey imaging systems and software services to aid in image acquisition and processing. From simple to complex image analysis, CCS can custom tailor and build a complete imaging system and software suite to fulfill your imaging requirements. Controlled Capture Systems uses National Instruments LabVIEW™ and IMAQ™ packages, allowing extreme flexibility for our customer's needs. Listed below are just a few examples of the systems we offer.

Turnkey Video Imaging Systems

Designed to be easy to use, RTL-Video© is a self contained time-lapse image generation system. Users of this system include architectural engineers, who want to monitor the progress of their buildings while under construction, material engineers, who want to preform hot inspections of metal rolling processes, allowing them to detect defeats while production is underway, and security personnel, who want to monitor areas at select time intervals. There are several types of timers for the control of the time-lapse imagery. The interval timer allows settings from one second to many minutes between images. The calendar timer allows the user to setup the program to run for hours/days/months, obtaining images at set interval times for very long periods. The Staggered timer allows the user to obtain imagery at uneven time intervals. The Interactive timer allows users to input time brackets, allowing for input times when events are actually happening, say during weekdays, and disabling the timer over weekends. The user also has control over how many images are taken per time interval. All images are saved via the Windows® native bitmap format so that there are no losses to the image due to compression. There is also a Snap feature to allow the user to take and save an image at anytime. The complete system includes a loaded Pentium 4 based PC, a color 640 x 480 video frame grabber, a color CCD camera, and optics. Also available are the software and frame grabber only. Other options are also available. Contact Controlled Capture Systems for more information.

The Guardian© Image Acquisition System.

With Controlled Capture's The Guardian© imaging system, computer automation of visual inspection, security automation, and process monitoring is made possible. The system utilizes CCS's time-lapse technology to monitor the incoming video imagery. The imagery is tested every user selected timed interval for a change between a reference image and the current image from the video system. The system does nothing if the current image agrees with the reference image. If a change between the two images is sensed, the system triggers a customizable event to inform the operator of the change. The changed image and future images are then saved for further study of the differences that were detected. The system highlights the differences in a high contrast color for easy detection with the human eye. Contact Controlled Capture Systems for more information.

PSV-Video© Systems for Particle Size and Velocity Measurements.

With Controlled Capture's PSV-Video© software and imaging system it is possible to measure particle characteristics. The software and imaging system was specifically designed for use with plasma spray particulate, or water spray droplet studies. An automated go no-go feature is used to ensure the imagery you are trying to process passes specific parameters for accurate measurement. The PSV-Video© systems provide both particle population and particle size distribution measurements and velocity measurements. All images are saved to hard disk along with its corresponding measurement data and time-stamp information. Included is Controlled Capture's File Player, allowing the user to quickly review the saved imagery along with its corresponding data. Histogram functions are also included to quickly view the particulate data in bin fashion. Contact Controlled Capture Systems for more information.
