We are excited to introduce Guardian for USB. Now web cam and other USB video devices can be used as low cost video surveillance systems to protect your home and business. This low cost interface has many of the features our higher end video capture suites offer. Below is a link to download a software demonstration of this new product line.
 
With Controlled Capture's The Guardian® imaging system, computer automation of visual inspection, security automation, and process monitoring is made possible. The system utilizes CCS's time-lapse technology to monitor the incoming video imagery. The imagery is tested every user selected timed interval for a change between a reference image and the current image from the video system. The system does nothing if the current image agrees with the reference image. If a change between the two images is sensed, the system triggers a customizable event to inform the operator of the change. The changed image and future images are then saved for further study of the differences that were detected. The system highlights the differences in a high contrast color for easy detection with the human eye. Contact Controlled Capture Systems for more information.
Main Screen
The Guardian's main screen contains all the necessary controls to obtain imagery and measurement
data. The data and images are taken via the time-lapse controls. Here test times of several days,
along with imagery intervals times from 1 second to several hours can be input. The system monitors obtained imagery for differences between a reference image and the current image. If a difference is detected the system starts recording imagery at a user select interval rate.
File Player Screen
The File Player program for The Guardian allows the user to review the saved imagery.
