PSV-Video© software

Controlled Capture's PSV-Video© systems for Particle Size and Velocity measurements. With Controlled Capture's PSV-Video© software and imaging system it is possible to measure particle characteristics. The software and imaging system was specifically designed for use with plasma spray particulate, or water spray droplet studies. An automated go no-go feature is used to ensure the imagery you are trying to process passes specific parameters for accurate measurement. The PSV systems provide both particle population and particle size distribution measurements and velocity measurements. All images are saved to hard disk along with its corresponding measurement data and time-stamp information. Included is Controlled Capture's File Player, allowing the user to quickly review the saved imagery along with its corresponding data. Histogram functions are also included to quickly view the particulate data in bin fashion. Contact Controlled Capture Systems for more information.

PSV Main Screen

PSV-Video© Main Screen

The PSV-Video© main screen contains all the necessary controls to obtain imagery and measurement data. The data and images are taken via the time-lapse controls. Here test times of several days, along with imagery intervals times from 1 second to several hours can be input. The image is first tested for proper contrast setup then the particles are sensed and measured.

Calibration Screen

Calibration Screen

The Calibration program of PSV-Video© allows the user to input real-world distances as to correlate imagery pixal data to real-world measurements.

File Player Screen

File Player Screen

The File Player program for PSV-Video© allows the user to review the saved imagery along with its corresponding measurement data.

Histogram Screen

Histogram Screen

A histogram function allows the user to view the image's population and size distribution information in bin format. The data for the whole test duration can also be viewed from here in histogram style
